Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara, RM135
At first glance, the new Iconic Overcurl Mascara doesn’t seem too much different than its predecessor. Take a closer look and you’ll see that the metal Dior logo is now raised, giving it a 3-D feel. What we particularly like is that the colour behind the logo indicates the real colour you’ll get inside the tube. Its curved wand makes application easy and precise, without clumping or smudging. Each individual lash is easily coated, elongated and curled in one swipe. It doesn’t smudge after long hours at work and is easily removable with micellar water. Our verdict: you will love it.
Marc Jacobs Beauty At Lash’d Mascara, RM122
We adore the brand’s Velvet Noir mascara, so naturally, we were curious about this one too. This is a very beautiful product. It’s long-wearing, doesn’t transfer and we love how it gives such nice length and definition to the lashes. You can definitely build it up a lot better than Velvet Noir. As for the wand, it applies beautifully and is especially great for lower lashes because it’s thin enough to get into those inner corners easily. The packaging is stunning in gold and black and looks luxurious. The formula is enriched with lash conditioners Biotin Peptide and ProvitaminB5 so you’ll be able to nourish your lashes at the same time.
Tarte Maneater Mascara, RM96
This treat works to make your lashes look a little slicker, fuller and longer. The custom moulded brush features hundreds of flexible bristles to curl and coat lashes with even pigment. We love it cos it does not come off streaky down your face when you wash off. To apply, start at the base of your lashses and wiggle up to the tips. Repeat as you like. Definitely get this one if you want thicker, voluminous lashes overall.
Milani Cosmetics The Waterproof One Mascara, RM55.25
This mascara from Milani Cosmetics really lives up to its name. It’s waterproof, sweat-proof, and is not going to transfer on your eyelids or run down your lower lashes. It will not weigh your lashes down. The wand is full of little bristles that are close together and will lengthen and volumise your eyelashes with just a single coat, without clumping out or flaking. Best of all, it’s the most affordable one of the bunch. Removal is easy too – just use baby oil and rub it off gently. Bonus: the electric blue packaging is gorgeous.
