And check out the Jayde Cardinalli x Rose Face Mask’s 20th anniversary limited-edition jar!
San Francisco-based designer and former textile design student, Jayde Cardinalli’s artwork is childlike with a vintage twist. Taking inspiration from nature, fashion, classic children’s books and even mythologies, you can’t help but be drawn into her unique designs, which is perhaps why even the renowned Creative Director of Gucci, Alessandro Michele took notice when he found her through Instagram. This led to a beautiful collaboration where Jayde’s illustrations were featured in Gucci’s SS’17 runway collection, and subsequently, she was commisioned to hand-paint two floors of the Gucci Garden in Florence, Italy. What a feat! Take a peek at some of her mesmerising work below:
This time round, another notable brand has took notice of her work and they have partnered up for a limited-edition design. In honour of the 20th anniversary of Fresh Beauty’s best-selling Rose Face Mask, Jayde created a watercolour illustration comprising roses surrounded by green leaves that can be seen on both the box and jar of the mask.

For the Fresh Beauty Collection, I drew upon my close connection with nature. I love the juxtaposition of a rose. It has this beautiful but dangerous thing going on. I wanted the packaging to have this wild, lush feel, which reflect the mask’s silky, soothing, flower-infused nature.
